Be at Peace Eileen


Eileen Mary Meyer, 62, of Trenton, Ill., born Oct. 17, 1947, in St. Charles,
Mo.,died March 10, 2010, at her residence.

Eileen was a homemaker while raising her four children and later joined
Jim's Formal Wear in Trenton, Ill., as a team member in the shoe
department.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, Ill., and a past
Eucharistic minister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Bernadine,
nee Kramer, Gruenloh Sr.; and sister, Betty Gruenloh.

Surviving are her husband, James A. Meyer of Trenton, Ill., whom she
married on Sept. 29, 1972, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Florissant,
Mo.; children, Patricia (Christopher) Sterling of Oswego, Ill., Sharon
(William) Kuhn of Columbia, Ill., Douglas Meyer of Trenton, Ill., and
Sara (Jeremy) Wildhaber of Edwardsville, Ill.; two grandchildren, Alec
and Madison Sterling; brothers, Vincent (Diane) Gruenloh Jr., of Florissant,
Mo., Robert (Sue) Gruenloh of Marion, Iowa and Gladys (Hugh)Farnen
of Salisbury, Mo.; father and mother-in-law, Albert and Josephine Meyer
of Florissant, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Louise (Mark) Sawyer of
St. Peters, Mo., Theodore (Marilyn) Meyer of Sunset Hills, Mo., David
(Kathy) Meyer of Grapevine, Texas, Claire (Melvin) Hegger of Columbia,
Mo., Janice (Duane) Bruce of St. Charles, Mo., Glennon (Karen) Meyer
of Creve Coeur, Mo., and Paul (Sabrina) Meyer of Huntsville, Ala.


In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to St. Mary Church or
American Cancer Society and will be received through Moss Funeral
home in Trenton, Ill. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to Moss
Funeral Home.


Visitation: Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010,
at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, Ill.


Funeral: Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 20, 2010
at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, Ill., with Father Gene Kreher
officiating. Keeping with her wishes her body was donated to St. Louis
University School of Medicine.
